The Red Shirt Rookies Program (Project Unify) is a before/after school sport specific skills program funded by Special Olympics Colorado and supported by Cherry Creek School District, Denver Public Schools, Douglas County Schools and Littleton Public Schools. Students will practice sports skills taught by school staff volunteers. They will have fun playing games against other students within their school. Special Olympics will provide all uniforms and equipment needed for this program.

The Red Shirt Rookies Program is open to ALL students in grades K- 6th with and without intellectual disabilities who would like to actively participate further in team sports! All students participating in the Red Shirt Rookies Program will need to have a Special Olympics Colorado Participation form on file in order to participate. Red Shirt Rookies is designed to introduce students to Special Olympics Unified Sports at a young age.
