4/3/2020 Update:                                                                                                                                            Parents and Students, due to the COVID19 closure of RRE, we have begun remote learning. The recommended activities for your child are meant to keep your child actively learning during this time period.

I have created 3 different Google classroom sites with my name and your child's grade level.  I have sent them an invitation through their gmail. I will be posting occasional assignments and supports for students in our Google classroom. Students should be familiar with this platform as they have been using it in their regular education classrooms with their teachers this school year.

I also created an account for each student through MobyMax, which will have an individualized program targeting the needs of each student. I will be sending their personal log-in information to you/them in an email within the next day. If possible, please have them login three times per week for the Math and/or Literacy portions. This is the link your child will need to log in: www.mobymax.com/co1448. Our school code is co1448.  Have your child log in "as a student."  I will post an introduction video and more specifics to their Google classroom.  I am able to set this program to the specific academic areas that target the IEP goals written for your child.  Once they take the placement test(s) and I access their scores, they will be able to start working at their own level.

In addition, I will have weekly online learning sessions for students to join me via Google Hangouts or Zoom. This will be a wonderful opportunity for students to interact with one another, ask questions and receive direct instruction. Watch you email students (and parents) for updates and invites. Groups will usually meet at the following times on Mondays, Tuesday, Thursday, and Fridays

4th grade Math.  10:00 - 10:30am
6th grade Math.   10:30 - 11:00am
5th grade Math   11:30 - 12:00 noon
4th grade Literacy. 1:00 - 1:30pm
5th grade Literacy 1:30 -2:00 pm
6th grade Literacy  2:00-2:30 pm
Make sure that you bring paper and pencil, or a whiteboard and markers to our meeting so that we can start doing some work together. What I am preparing for the students will definitely be a new experience through remote learning.  This remote teaching is very new to me and I would like to ask everyone to extend patience, grace, courtesy, and understanding in this time of uncertainty. I hope you had a wonderful spring break and all are doing well.
