Personally Owned Devices

Girl with Books Douglas County School District supports an initiative that allows students to bring personally owned technology devices into school for educational purposes to enhance learning opportunities.

At Rock Ridge, 1st - 6th grade teachers have the option to allow personally owned devices (PODs) in their classroom. Classroom teachers will contact their student's families with more information should they choose to participate.

If your student's teacher has contacted you regarding PODs and you have read and understand the detailed information about our PODs policy, please click on the following link to access the parent permission form. Students may not bring PODs to school unless their classroom teacher is participating AND the permission form has been submitted. 

A new permission form must be submitted each school year for each student.
