Dear Rock Ridge Community:

I hope this letter finds you well as we approach Thanksgiving during these unprecedented times. Sometimes when we are overwhelmed with challenges and change it is hard to
think of what blessings we do have in our lives. The Rock Ridge community has many things to be thankful for: a community school that works in collaboration with parents,
school staff that’s vested in your child’s safety and learning, a strong and supportive PTO, our awesome pets, weekends, breathing fresh air without smoke, laughter, sunshine,
love. And the list goes on. Sometimes it takes a moment to remind ourselves that a smile is contagious and when we smile our brains release tiny molecules called neuropeptides
that help fight off stress. So enjoy the holiday and smile... A lot. Have a great break and we will be prepared to
support you and your children when we return with eLearning on November 30th. Watch for specific details and expectations from your child’s teacher soon.
Should you have any questions, concerns or celebrations, please feel free to contact me. I look forward to hearing from you.

Sincerely,
Peter Mosby, Principal
