Dear Rock Ridge Families,
Hello March and hello snow! Spring is so close yet so far away after our last round of cold
and snowy weather. With spring break just around the corner, we are all ready to thaw out
and begin to enjoy the Colorado sunshine. (Please be sure to notify the front office know if
your child will be out of school any time prior or after spring break.)
A big thank you to our PTO who stocked the teacher’s
lounge with all kinds of snacks and drinks as we prepare for
Student Lead Conference week. The support from our
parents is greatly appreciated, giving staff an opportunity to
reset by taking a break and grabbing some goodies from the
center table.
Starting Tuesday, March 22nd I will be starting up again, Coffee
and Donuts with the principal. Feel free to come by and ask any
questions you may have or just to socialize. The event will take
place monthly from 8:45-9:15 right after announcements. Future
dates are April 26th and May 17th. The get-togethers are also
posted on the school website.
CMAS English/Language Arts and math will begin Tuesday, April 5th through April 7th
for 3rd-6th grade students. 5th grade students will also take the Science assessment from
Tuesday, April 12th through Thursday, April 14th. Please support Rock Ridge by having
your students arrive to school on time and with some kind of breakfast. Participation
impacts our state rating so please be sure to have your child attend.
Have a great day!
Sincerely,
Peter Mosby, Principal
